Meet Bailee and Cooper, a special bonded pair who will need an even more special home. Brother and sister, these Hungarian Kuvasz twins were raised together and have never been apart. In their previous home their care unfortunately declined with their owners’ health, and so they came to us in much need of TLC. After a month we had finally gained enough trust for us to bathe them, and in the months since have come to learn the joys of going for walks in the woods, a good squeaky ball, and a romp in the park!
Your first thought upon seeing these two may have been Great Pyrenees, and they are quite similar! The Kuvasz as a breed are meant to be livestock guardians, and as such have a tendency to announce any strangers, guard their home, and take their time in trusting newcomers. This article has a great rundown of all breed attributes: https://www.yourpurebredpuppy.com/reviews/kuvasz.html
The ideal home would have property with some breathing room, a fenced yard, and plenty of squeaky tennis balls!
