Scooter, twin to Sadie, is a very sweet boy. They were captured stray off the streets of Texas, and soon found themselves in the shelter. Luckily our friends from Freedom Street found the pair and got them sent up north to us in Maine. Scooter is a happy guy, though still nervous with his new surroundings. Compared to his sister, Scooter is more laid back. He will of course romp and play- as ten month old pups do- but he is likely to be the first to step away from playtime to find the nearest person willing to impart some pets.
Coming from the stray life, Scooter is still not used to all the ways of the human household world, but he is learning quickly how nice it is to lay on a couch and chew a bone. This young man gets along with just about any dog we have introduced him to, though he tends to err on the side of caution and would rather his sister take the first steps forward. Scooter would likely do best in a home with another dog friend to pal around with. This great young guy will make a wonderful addition to the home that lets him adjust at his own pace and teaches him how great life in a warm and loving home can be!
