The world’s greatest tripod pup, Coach, has been adopted! When Coach first arrived in the shelter system, he was in dire need of leg surgery. Unfortunately it did not take and had to be amputated, so Coach went into recovery while also being in the system, and the poor guy just had a rough few months. Luckily we were looking for some Texas dogs and were able to get him on a transport to Maine, where we learned that Coach is just about the best guy there is. Happy to meet everyone, great energy but also calm, and the cutest tripod bouncing bum as he trots beside you on his leash.
After a few months without a dog, Wayne and Shari of Sanford came looking for an easygoing pup to join their family, and the match could not have been better. Coach now enjoys beach trips, car rides, tagging along to work, and just being the best companion he was meant to be. We are thrilled for Coach, and hope to see him back for a pup cup in the summer!
