“If you build it, they will come.” We did, and they do come – from all over the place!
Our amazing adoption families come from all walks of life, and from all over New England. Case in point, meet Nicole and Jack, who hail from Thomaston, Connecticut. They have adopted our very cool buddy Conan.
Nicole told us that she always had family dogs growing up as a kid, and she felt that she and Jack were ready to have one of their own. Their future plans include kids, so Conan will eventually get a sibling or two (or three?).
For now, Nicole and Jack and Conan, who literally fell in love with Conan at first sight (and we get it, Conan is a magnificently handsome pup), are looking forward to spending time together. They work opposing hours, so Conan will pretty much have all the company he wants.
Being part of a true rescue operation in which we save the lives of dogs and watch them blossom here at Grammy Rose and then climb into cars and head off to better lives than the ones they left behind … it’s magical.
