And the award for the most unusual dog name we’ve had in a long while goes to this super cool young pup.  Meet Dippin Dot, a 10 month old Vizla/Hound mix male who weighs about 32 pounds. He was born and raised on the sunny island of St. Thomas, USVI and is coming to us via charter flight from our friends at the island’s very busy Humane Society.

Dippin Dot is a little shy, but loves playing with other dogs and has learned to walk on leash. His sister Fiona came in the same group (and she appears in some of the pictures).  He’s been described as a medium-energy dog who loves to chill on the couch after play time.  He’s curious but a little shy around kids and has not been tested with cats.  Given his Caribbean beginnings, it’ll be interesting to see how he adapts to our somewhat different climate!
