Layla is a puddle of love and a staff favorite. This sweet girl has returned to us due to unforeseen changes of her owner’s living situation, and boy does she miss car rides and couch cuddles. She will crawl into your lap for a good nap, or just as quickly be up and ready to go out and hit the trails.
Layla has an early morning routine that you have to see to believe. It’s not unlike the famous dancing hippo ballerina from Disney’s Fantasia. When you first let her out in the morning she flounces and bounces and twirls about, but then once she’s tuckered, she will make a beeline for the couch and start snoring.
Layla would be a fantastic addition to a family, she loves all people and puts up with any kind of petting you are willing to impart. Smush her face between your hands, lay on some kisses, play with her paws, give her a bear hug, anything and everything- Layla loves to be loved.
Layla is a blue brindle coloration; her coat looks silver at a glance, but in the sunlight you will notice she has a pretty tiger stripe brindle pattern. She is protective of her territory and will need to be an only animal in her forever home.
