Dixie has been adopted. This gentle soul has found a loving family to call hers, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. Jason of Buxton, ME works from home, and was looking for a companion for himself and his two kids. Along with daily life, Dixie will also enjoy joining the family on all of their adventures. We see many hikes and camping trips in her future! Dixie wasn’t quite sure what to think when she made her way from Texas to Maine, but she soon found our “home environments” at the shelter were top notch (evidenced by her refusing to leave the sofa!), and now she has a family and home of her very own. Happy tails Dixie! You will be forever loved.
