Roxy has been adopted!
The lovely couple pictured with Roxy are Edward and Amanda, and they live in New Sharon. They have always had a dog in their family, and after recently suffering a pet loss, they reached out to see who we had available.
Our rescue manager spoke with them in detail about the dogs we had in residence, and they drove down with open hearts and minds to see which dog felt best to them. After meeting Roxy, the search stopped as they simply knew Roxy was their girl. For her part, Roxy took to them immediately and the match was made.
Edward works from home and will be with Roxy almost all the time. Amanda is a nurse, and fully intends to spoil Roxy rotten once she is home from work each day. They have a huge back yard, and Roxy will have abundant play space and lots and lots of love.
And that’s exactly what we had hoped for when we chose her to come to Maine. Woof!
