This one is all about true love from a distance.
Our buddy Webber, who came to us from Texas just recently, has found his forever home!
Meet Kylie and Grant, who live about three hours away in Newburgh. They just purchased a new house that comes with a lot of land for a dog to romp and play in, and started looking for the perfect pup. Our rescue manager Cindy said they took one look at Webber on our website, read his story, and hit the ground running (after calling and talking with Cindy and completing the online adoption application, of course).
But they didn’t show up empty handed. Take a good look at Webber’s harness and leash. Kylie and Grant bought them for Webber and brought them in the car – that’s how sure they were that they wanted Webber to join their family.
So they met, snuggled, played around a little bit in one of the play yards, and as Cindy tells us, Webber looked up at Kylie and Grant and basically had this “so we’re going home now, right?” look on his face. And so they did.
Webber may have had a rough start to life down in Texas, but he had the great fortune to be brought to us at Grammy Rose, and now he’s off to a whole new world in Newburgh, and a whole new life with his awesome new family. We wish Webber Happy Tails and we wish Grant and Kylie all the happiness a new dog can bring.
