It’s a magical day at Grammy Rose when we host an adoption, and today we’re really excited to share that Rue has a new home and a new family!
The gentleman in the picture with Rue is Nate, and he lives in Waterboro, right here in York County. When he came to see Rue, he told us that he recently had knee replacement surgery, and he was specifically looking for a walking and hiking companion for himself and his beautiful 10 year old Black Lab.
Nate met Rue, fell instantly in love (and who wouldn’t?) and after the usual paperwork and a parting “Gotcha Day” picture, Rue climbed up into the car, looked back at our rescue manager Cindy and winked. Really.
We’re thrilled for Nate, Rue, and Rue’s new sister – we hope you have a happy life together!
