“Dog” is such a small word for something that takes up so much room in our hearts and makes such a joyful impact on our lives. Our rescue is a donor-funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We rely on the ongoing support of generous donors to help us transport, feed and care for the dogs while they’re in residence. Every contribution makes an impact, and your contribution will be put to work immediately to support our mission and the dogs and families we serve daily.
We partner with Zeffy to securely process donations because 100% of each donation comes directly to us. Zeffy accepts all major credit and debit cards, ACH donations from U.S. bank accounts, and Apple Pay and Google Pay for those who have it. We are often asked, “How can I help support your mission?“ The largest expense we incur savings dogs and helping them find new and better lives is the cost to transport them from the south and other areas to Maine.
It costs us $140 per dog for each dog’s Freedom Ride, and we now have a way for donors to earmark their donations to directly support the cost of one or more Freedom Rides. We partner with Zeffy, which accepts all major credit and debit cards, ACH donations from bank accounts, and Apple Pay and Google Pay if you have them setup – and 100% of your donation comes straight to us! Donate to Honor or Celebrate a Loved One
We are often asked if it’s possible for a donor to honor the life and memory of a loved one, or to celebrate a special person, dog or occasion. This donation form allows you to do just that, and if you wish, we can even notify the honoree or the honoree’s family of your generous gift.
Your gift in tribute or celebration helps us rescue, heal, and care for adoptable dogs so that we can help them start new, better lives with local adopters.
